The BürgerHaus / Gemeinschaftszentrum Obervieland – or simply BGO – has been a vibrant cultural hub for all generations since its founding in 1977. Directly connected to the local Gymnasium, this dynamic venue is packed with spaces for different occasions: Two modern Event Halls, various Seminar Rooms, stylish Offices, a cozy Café, a KITA, a hands-on Tool Workshop and even a Discotheque.
This year, our event takes place in the crown jewel of the complex, the large event hall, completed in 1999. Unlike the older, bunker-style sections, this part of the building offers a fresh, modern vibe that sets the perfect mood for a Demoscene Party. Designed to welcome over 100 visitors, it features a Stage, a Big Screen, and a fully-equipped Industrial Kitchen, ready to support all kinds of events.
Step outside the doorway and you’ll find a stylish BBQ area and a grassy hill basking in sunshine, ideal for relaxing and socializing. Need a quick refresh? Showers are available for rinsing off the pixel dust before diving back into the party. And for a laid-back refreshment break, the Café & Bar next to the hall offers drinks in a cozy setting, just bring your own food or grab something hot from the BBQ to enjoy alongside.
